Just this morning, I’ve selected twelve paintings I created this year to be in my 2022 art calendar. I’m never early to release these and sometimes, more often than I like, I don’t get around to making calendars until after the new year has arrived. But this year is different.

I’m pretty happy with myself by not only getting them prepared, but I also sent out an email to my list announcing they’re available. And now this post! I’m on a roll… ha ha. Well, let’s not get too carried away. In the grand scheme of things all holiday and end of year kind of things, I’m still woefully behind.

It seems I’m always chasing my tail. Do you ever feel like that? It seems once October hits, then Thanksgiving comes sliding in and before I know it, I’m looking down the sites at Christmas. This somehow all feels like about a total of 3 or 4 weeks, not 3 months. Assuming this is par for the course of aging, I’ll also assume it’s just going to keep going faster.

I’m not sure why I procrastinate on my art calendar. It’s not like I don’t know it’s coming. On the contrary, sometimes I’ll even paint something with a special month in mind. Well, I’ve always said I work better under pressure and today proves it as I was trying to get an order in by tomorrow.

Today, I’m offering a promo code for $5 off a calendar just for being a reader of my blog, thank you! The coupon code is CAL22 and it should work for as many calendars as you purchase. These do make nice gifts. I buy several myself and give as gifts.

It was fun selecting the paintings. I had a lot of beautiful flowers that I wanted to include as well as abstracts. It’s a nice even mix which you can see below. If you’d like to purchase, just go to my shop page where I sell calendars. Don’t forget to use your promo code and if you’d like to get an even sweeter deal and other specials then join my email list. My email list gets special treatment and invitations to art shows and other events speaking of which, I’ll be announcing one in the next day or so. So come back soon to find out more.

Learn more about me on the ‘About’ page under the additional links menu. I’m an artist – a painter mostly and an avid gardener. I paint a variety of subjects including birds, koi fish, my gardens, ponds and flowers as well as anything having to do with nature especially trees and tropical scenes. I also enjoy painting abstracts and have started created more and more of them. My most favorite thing to try to achieve in my painting is is mystery and telling mystical stories.

If you would like to keep up with what I’m doing, I have a newsletter e-mailed about once a month that gives you special status for invitations, birthday greeting and more. I’d love for you to add your email to my Friends and Collectors list!
