My friend Lori Rivera and I are having another Pop Up Gallery in September. September 28th from 4:30-6:30 pm this time and it’s being held at a library in Evansville, Indiana. We picked Oaklyn Branch Library for it’s location and ease of parking and they have a great meeting room that we were able to reserve.
This is our first time for reserving this space, but I think it’s going to be a great venue. Sadly, our friend Vicki Wilson won’t be joining us this time. She’s got other obligations but I’m sure Lori and I can fill the room with our artwork!
In fact, we’ve both been painting new pieces for this pop up. We both plan to have new paintings to offer our guests. We’ll have a door prize, just like the last one. So, If you’re in the Evansville area, I hope you can stop by and see what we’ve got and make sure you sign up for the giveaway.
We are trying out another pop up. We’re not sure if two a year is too many or not. I guess we’ll find out. It’s my hope that people that are on my list and that weren’t able to come to the first one we had in March will be able to make this one. Of course the people that came to the first one are welcomed with open arms! It could be the start of shopping season for some. I usually do most of my Christmas shopping later in the year but do pick special things that I see throughout the year, too.
If you’re on my mailing list, be looking out for a postcard the second week of September. If you didn’t get one from me last March and you’re on my email list that means I don’t have your address. I’d love to personally send you an invitation, so please email me, text or call (812-783-0399) with your snail mail and I’ll be sure you get one.

Learn more about me on the ‘About’ page under the additional links menu. I’m an artist – a painter mostly and an avid gardener. I paint a variety of subjects including birds, koi fish, my gardens, ponds and flowers as well as anything having to do with nature especially trees and tropical scenes. I also enjoy painting abstracts and have started created more and more of them. My most favorite thing to try to achieve in my painting is is mystery and telling mystical stories.
If you would like to keep up with what I’m doing, I have a newsletter called Visual Stories that’s e-mailed two to three times a month that gives you special status. Subscribers often get first dibs at new paintings, invitations to events, birthday greetings and more. I’d love for you to add your email to my Friends and Collectors list!
