Jaime Haney with her art exhibit

My son Asher stood up on the bench and took my photo.

I just set up my newest art exhibit at Mt. Vernon’s Alexandrian Public. I’ll have nine of my paintings up in the entry hall for all the month of August.

This is my 3rd art exhibit I think at this location. (See older exhibit here) I’m always excited and honored though to be asked to exhibit there. I told Stan Campbell, the director, that I’d like to have the month of October some year and put up a bunch of spooky paintings. Although my photo looks kinda spooky. I had a smiling one and it was worse!

So the above photo shows all the nine paintings but just not that great. The first three are “Mellifluous Wind”, a triptych that I haven’t yet got listed in my shop but plan to soon. A lot of the paintings can be found in my shop here.

I’ve got title cards on all of them and maybe I’ll sell one… or more!

They really brighten up the entry hall though. I’m pleased with how they all show against the size and color of the wall. They show nicely in the space.

Learn more about me on the ‘About’ page in the menu at the top. I’m an artist – a painter mostly and an avid gardener. I paint a variety of subjects including birds, koi fish, my gardens, ponds and flowers as well as anything having to do with nature especially trees and tropical scenes. I also enjoy painting abstracts and have started created more and more of them. My most favorite thing to try to achieve in my painting is is mystery.

If you would like to keep up with what I’m doing, I have a newsletter e-mailed about once a month that gives you special status for invitations, birthday greeting and more. I’d love for you to add your email to my Friends and Collectors list!
