Your wedding day is one of the most important days in your life and the special flowers that you selected play an important role in that day. Isn’t it a shame the wedding flowers are used only once? Or worse yet, wilt and fade? I think so, so I offer Bridal Bouquet Portraits where you can be preserve them eternally in a painting that offers you a lifetime of joy and precious memories of that happy day.

Bridal bouquet paintings are often given as a meaningful and memorable gift from parents or from the groom. They make a romantic anniversary gift as well.

Commission a bridal bouquet painting for a unique, one of a kind painting of your wedding bouquet from your photos. Everything can be handled easily via email and the finished painting will be shipped directly to you.

How to commission a custom bridal bouquet painting

A custom painting means I’m painting a special work of art just for you. I will create a beautifully detailed painting of the flowers inspired from your photos. It’s really so easy and you don’t need to send the actual bouquet. Silks or fresh flowers, it doesn’t matter… they’ll all look beautiful.

I paint on a 1½” deep gallery wrapped professional canvas of your chosen size using professional grade artist’s acrylic paints. It’s painted on all the sides so a frame is not necessary and it will make a statement on your wall. Finally, the painting will arrive to you carefully packaged and varnished with a wire on the back ready to hang as a showpiece in your home.

Details about the process

  • First, a 50% non-refundable down payment is required to reserve your spot on my wait list with the remaining amount due when the painting is finished. Painting will not begin until the down payment is received. This covers materials.
  • Second, a simple contract will be sent for the commissioned bridal bouquet painting. Again, painting will not begin until I receive the signed contract. This is assurance for both of us.
  • I will request a few good quality photos, usually sent via email or even text.
  • Next, we’ll work together to discuss details such as background color and angle of bouquet, and the focal point flower. Don’t worry, I’ll offer suggestions based on your photos.
  • Above all, I want you to fall in love with your painting. Therefore 2 revisions are allowed with the bridal bouquet painting. I’ll send you photos of the painting along the way for your approval and will make changes as necessary.
  • After your final approval of the painting, the remainder of the fee is due in full.
  • Finally, I ship the painting to the address you’ve provided.

A little more information

Allow 1 – 3 weeks for the painting to be finished depending on my work load. If you require it sooner, contact me to discuss a timeline.  A rush charge will be added for the painting and possibly the shipping should it require it. This charge will be added to the down payment.

To illustrate the timeline, my detail oriented process takes around 25 hours and possibly longer to complete depending on the complexity of the floral arrangement. I offer 3 popular sizes, but if you’re interested in something larger or in a square format just contact me and we can select a format perfect for you.

Shipping is included for US buyers. International buyers please contact me before you make a down payment so I can figure out the shipping costs. I use USPS for shipping unless you request a faster method, in that case you would be required to pay the difference.

Additional services I offer

For an extra special touch, I offer note cards with envelopes of your finished bouquet painting.  These might be used as thank you notes for wedding gifts or just special note cards to keep handy for any occasion. I can even personalize them with the wedding date and the newlyweds names if so desired. They are blank inside and come with white envelopes.

Lastly, if you are gifting this bridal bouquet painting, I offer it gift wrapped for a nominal fee. If you need it shipped to the newlyweds instead of yourself, I can also provide a wedding card and sign your name and include a short note from you, if you wish.
