Just a week and a few days away is Christmas at the Cabin 2022 and you’re invited! This is a such a fun, unique shopping experience and I love just being there with all the beauty that surrounds me. Three days of unique shopping. Friday, Saturday and Sunday December 9th, 10th & 11th.

Take a drive out into the beautiful Posey County countryside and shop the barns and studio of my friend Tom Wintczak. There are three artisans there: Tom Wintczak, a potter; Richard Hitch, a woodcarver; Jaime Haney, painter. We have our artwork spread out throughout the beautiful barn and Tom’s studio, seen below on the postcard. If you’re local to me, you may have already gotten your postcard in the mail. If you’d like to receive a postcard, just email me your physical mailing address and I’ll get it right out to you.

I’ll also send out a newsletter about the show probably today or tomorrow. If you’re not on my email list, please sign up! Message me and I’ll do it for you. That way, you’ll never miss the fun events I get to participate in.

While you’re shopping, don’t forget to sign up for the Door Prize drawing! It’s a fantastic gift of creative handcrafted pieces of art by each of the three artists. The value is over $100! Merry Christmas to you, right?! You don’t have to be present to win. We announce the winner the last day of Christmas at the Cabin 2022 at the end of the last day (Sunday). You do need to sign up in person, so please come.

See my post about last year’s Christmas at the Cabin here. Lots of fun photos.

We hope to see you there, you won’t regret it. I’ve had so many people tell me what a special event it was last year so don’t miss it. It’s worth the drive. Speaking of drive, in my newsletter, I’ll include specific directions to the cabin. Google Maps sends you not so great ways.

Learn more about me on the ‘About’ page under the additional links menu. I’m an artist – a painter mostly and an avid gardener. I paint a variety of subjects including birds, koi fish, my gardens, ponds and flowers as well as anything having to do with nature especially trees and tropical scenes. I also enjoy painting abstracts and have started created more and more of them. My most favorite thing to try to achieve in my painting is is mystery and telling mystical stories.
