Costume Creations

Costume Creations I have mostly dreamt up, fashioned and brought to life combined with a nod to my favorite holiday, Halloween. I’ve posted multiple pages dedicated to tutorials of my spooky faces and accoutrements for Halloween.

I love to put together handmade costumes and go to great lengths and energy assembling them. So, I thought I’d have a little bragging page that includes tutorials on how I created the faces and costumes and sometimes the accessories. Feel free to be inspired or just laugh at my silly obsession with spookiness. I love to come up with something new and fun each year. I do all my own makeup and hair and usually sew and craft my costume by hand either from scratch or by repurposing thrift store finds.

I’ll probably add more pictures each year unless I flake out and stop dressing up. Or if I just don’t get invited to any more Halloween costume parties! Noooooooooo!!!

I hope you enjoy looking at them and it gets you even more into the spooky mood for Halloween. Now I’ve got to get back to making my sons bunny cowboy army guy ninja warrior Black Ops Minecraft Villager dude I’m not doing Halloween (is this MY son??). Man, I’ll be glad when he’s ready to go for the scary costumes!

Thanks for looking. I appreciate your comments, link backs, pins and mentions! Click on links below to take you to the page where I have the in progress photos including making the wearable sewing part if I have it.

Learn more about me on the ‘About’ page under the additional links menu. I’m an artist – a painter mostly and an avid gardener. I paint a variety of subjects including birds, koi fish, my gardens, ponds and flowers as well as anything having to do with nature especially trees and tropical scenes. I also enjoy painting abstracts and have started created more and more of them. My most favorite thing to try to achieve in my painting is is mystery and telling mystical stories.

If you would like to keep up with what I’m doing, I have a newsletter e-mailed about once a month that gives you special status for invitations, birthday greeting and more. I’d love for you to add your email to my Friends and Collectors list!
