Happy Halloween to you!
Oh have I got a treat to share today. This past weekend, I had two, count ’em two Halloween Parties to go to!!!
The first one was a party my friend Jody and I co-hosted. It was mainly her idea and she did all of the prep work for the food part. She also got us a room to have the party at, her husband’s lodge. You know how parties are, if you invite 100 people, just a handful will commit. This wasn’t any different, but the ones that showed up were primed and ready to party! Everyone dressed up in spooky fun costumes.
You know Halloween is my most favorite holiday and I always go all out for my costumes. This year I got to do two. First as an Old Hag then as a Mystical Gypsy. I didn’t do my normal tutorial type photos this time. I was just too busy. The party Jody and I had was an hour away from my house so I had to get ready there and was in such a rush I didn’t get any during photos. I painted three other faces before I got to my own.
Here’s the photos from Jody and I’s party.
A lot of these friends are members of a paranormal group I belong to, SIPI (Southern Indiana Paranormal Investigators). We had a great time.
The next night, was the Rapp Halloween Party! Last year the hostess, Denise, didn’t have the party so I was thrilled she did it again this year. My friend Jody was my date.
This party was held in New Harmony and at the A.C. Thomas House which is a historical home. It is stunning. Denise had it decorated up perfectly. It was a thumping party with disco lights and even a DJ! So fun!
As you can tell by the photos, I had a great time. Good thing, because here it is Halloween night and my kid doesn’t even want to dress up and go trick or treating! Can this seriously be my child?!
