Happy Holidays from my family to yours!
That photo was taken Christmas Day just after loading out plates with food. You can see my son not interested in taking any more photos, just eating ham. Ha! My dad (bottom right of photo) bought us a Honey Baked ham and it was delicious.
Here’s Zoey in the center of the action. Presents were being ripped open and she didn’t want to miss a single thing. She’s such a good girl.
Recently, we’ve started playing games during the holidays. So after the presents are all opened and we’ve washed up the dishes we all gathered to play. It’s Monopoly but a version we got while on vacation one year and it’s based on everything in Charleston. It’s called “Charleston-Opoly”. It’s just like Monopoly and takes just as long.
This photo was after about 5 hours of playing! I had just won for the first time! Look at all the property I acquired and the stacks of cash I had! My son Asher is in my seat.
Even the cats are having Happy Holidays. My friend Amelia made this cat toy and let me tell you my cats absolutely love it! These two cats don’t like each other and they were playing with it together. It was irresistible. It’s a tube with cat nip and filler. If you’d like one, you can find her shop Carry Me Momma on Etsy. You can also find her on Facebook.
She made Zoey a couple of neckerchiefs and I wish I had gotten a photo of her with it on, but I didn’t. She’s got all handmade fun stuff for our furry babies in her shop.
Can you believe the end of the year is tomorrow? I can’t.
I’m hoping you had Happy Holidays too!
I found this comic on Facebook, I don’t know who the artist is but I love the sentiment.
Learn more about me on the ‘About’ page in the menu at the top. I’m an artist – a painter mostly and an avid gardener. I paint a variety of subjects including birds, koi fish, my gardens, ponds and flowers as well as anything having to do with nature especially trees and tropical scenes. I also enjoy painting abstracts and have started created more and more of them. My most favorite thing to try to achieve in my painting is is mystery.
If you would like to keep up with what I’m doing, I have a newsletter e-mailed about once a month that gives you special status for invitations, birthday greeting and more. I’d love for you to add your email to my Friends and Collectors list!
365 days of opportunities for art, right? Such a happy post, and great photos. Hope that happiness continues throughout the whole coming year for you and yours.
Well yes art but also 365 days of anything good! I’m sure I’ll be splitting it up between painting, reading, writing, planting, eating, laughing and well you get the idea! I hope you find just as many good things too! Wishing you happiness all throughout the upcoming year as well, thank you Lisa!
