Announcing the March art giveaway and the month is only half over!

I’m heading in the right direction at least. Last month was last minute but I discovered I was not getting any sign ups for my marketing newsletter this way, which is the whole point – to build my email list. I had better get in gear and start the giveaway at the beginning of the month like I meant to do when I started it. So, here it is the March art giveaway!

A contemporary and richly colored abstract. I love to paint abstracts in-between the more detailed paintings of my birds, plants and flowers. They help me loosen up which isn’t always easy when I’m focusing on trying to paint an eye for the perfect expression, say on one of my ravens.

This is a small piece, as all of my giveaways are. The art itself is about 4×5 ish. I’m loving the earthy qualities of the greens mixing with the burnt orange and blue. The pops of color with the magenta and red compliment it nicely.

Below, I’ve photographed it both vertically and horizontally because I think it works either way. I’ve signed the back so it can be displayed any way the winner will decide to display.

The black mat was perfect and I thought the white frame was a nice clean touch. Of course the painting doesn’t come provided with mat and the 5″x7″ frame. I will offer the winner a choice of just the painting, no mat and frame mailed to them at no cost or they can pay a nominal fee and I’ll send it to them just as seen here.

If you’re interested in my art and wouldn’t mind getting the occasional email (usually monthly) from me featuring my paintings and what is currently going on, then please sign up for my newsletter (Art & Antics of Jaime Haney).

In return, anyone who signs up or is currently signed up will be in the monthly drawing for a FREE study or small piece of art by me* (mat and frame not included but available for purchase at time of notification). Studies are small paintings that I use to sort out ideas for larger paintings, color ideas or just playing around with the paint while loosening up. Most will be about 5×7 or smaller and will be signed by me. Each one will be an original and perfectly frame-able (by you).

This is important:

The winner will be announced at the end of each month (first name with last initial and city). I will notify the winner by email, post it here on my blog, also on FB and in the newsletter. I’ll be posting a photo of the study that is being given away that month here and on various social media that I’m on like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, even Pinterest.

The winner will be chosen at random by random . org. I’ll announce a winner the last day of each month and they will have 5 days to contact me acknowledging they’ve won. Shipping will be covered by me. So, it will be important to open your emails from me in a timely manner if you’re hoping to win! Also, people who’ve won previously still have another chance each month. If you’re lucky enough to get randomly selected twice, then who am I to question the universe? Let’s go with it!
