I’m doing my first ever Mini con tomorrow at Alexandrian Public Library in Mt. Vernon Indiana. I’ll have my prints and paintings that I feel might fit into the vibe that I think will go on there.

I really am not sure of the vibe since I’ve not been to one, but I’m thinking it’s going to be fans of comic books and pop culture, Star Wars, Cosplay, fans of making costumes and that sort of thing. Plus there might be hockey fans for the Thunderbolts.

Wonder Woman

It ought to be fun to people watch if nothing else. They’re having a runway for the people that dress up to strut their stuff and show off their costumes. How fun is that? If I hadn’t been so busy these last few weeks, I would have myself a costume to strut with on that runway!

The Mini Con runs from 11 am – 3 pm and the “Artists Alley” is where I’ll be. That’s the meeting room for those who don’t know, ha ha.

There are vendors too, like a comic book booth from Book Broker out of Evansville. Oh and the Evansville Thunderbolts will be there! (That’s our local hockey team) This is sounding like such a good time plus it’s free to get in.

Learn more about me on the ‘About’ page in the menu at the top. I’m an artist – a painter mostly and an avid gardener. I paint a variety of subjects including birds, koi fish, my gardens, ponds and flowers as well as anything having to do with nature especially trees and tropical scenes. I also enjoy painting abstracts and have started creating more and more of them. My most favorite thing to try to achieve in my painting is mystery.

If you would like to keep up with what I’m doing, join my email list. About once a month I send out a letter that gives you invitations for shows, birthday greeting, sneak peeks at new work and more. I’d love for you to add your email to my Friends and Collectors list!
