Happy New Year! I haven’t posted since last year, haha… But seriously, I think 2013 is going to be great! All kinds of new ideas and projects in the works.

Since mid year of 2012, I’ve been working with a friend of mine, artist Katherine Sands, on a top secret book project. Ha ha… well not really top secret but I haven’t shared anything of it because up until now, it’s been on the back burner since we both had a crazy busy schedule before Christmas. But now, the new year has brought on a bit of urgency since the book is Easter related and Easter is early this year. March 31st to be exact. So we’ve got to move it!

I can’t give too much away but I will share a sketch of one of her main characters which is Little Lamb. Kathy has written the book and I’m doing the illustrations and layout. It’s a children’s book and I can’t wait to share it with you when it’s done. I’ve been sketching cartoons for it off and on and we are at a point where it is ready to move forward. We are publishing it through Amazon’s Create Space. So wish us luck, it’s a tough market out there.

I was going to share a recipe I tried tonight… greek roasted potatoes… but it will have to wait. Tune in tomorrow!
