New Mystical Mother Nature painting now available!
I’ve been adding paintings to my online shop, here on this website. My latest is a 20″x16″ acrylic on canvas titled Mystical Mother Nature.
You might remember a blog post I wrote about it a little while back. I had progression photos and talk more about the painting. See that post here. Who knew that a mother nature painting would come out of it?
Mystical Mother Nature is a mysterious painting to me. It started out as something very different and I knew in my soul that it would not be finished until I changed what I had first painted.
Deep shades of indigo, violet and magenta are the background that makes this painting pop off the canvas with the serene eyes looking back at you. Fingers of mist-like fog caress the falling leaves and flower petals as they fall to earth.
This painting has many layers to it, literally and figuratively. It’s spiritual, it’s mystical.

I paint a variety of subjects including birds, koi fish, my gardens, ponds and flowers as well as anything having to do with nature especially trees and tropical scenes. I also enjoy painting abstracts and have started created more and more of them. My most favorite thing to try to achieve in my painting is is mystery.
