Painting 4 is coming in a day late. I actually did paint it yesterday but didn’t have time to get it on my blog last night. We are having below zero temperatures coming and the husband needed to fix up his mother’s generator just in case. So we were in Paducah the entire day and evening and me with out internet access to post.

This painting is more of a study in pattern, color and form. I started playing around with warm, rich spicy colors and just kept layering layers upon layers. I like the way it turned out and I think it would make beautiful fabric, don’t you?

So it looks like we may not get all the snow that was predicted, but the cold temps are for sure coming. Coldest in two decades! Right now it’s just raining and raining. Glad it’s not snow, but it will most definitely turn to ice later which is very bad. That must be why I decided to paint with such warm colors.

If anyone is interested in a print of this (it’s a digital creation), just choose the size you would like and then click the buy now button. Print comes as only a print and no matt or frame. Shipping is $6, please allow 5-10 days for delivery. Shown below are examples of what this print would look like in my choice of frames. I’m not sure which I like best, the matted or non matted… both are nice. Which do you like?

I have no idea what I’m going to paint today but I better start thinking about it! Enjoy your Sunday, hopefully I’ll be back with a new painting before the day is out!
