Original painting has sold, but prints are available. Blood Moon was created while listening to music and being influenced by the music and also the fact that there had been a blood moon recently (when I painted it).
Which music you ask? Well I’ll be happy to share that with you, it was Pink Floyd and here is a post I wrote about that on my blog.
This painting comes from inspiration of a blood moon we had not long ago. I thought it looked so otherworldly that I painted a purply red-violet ocean with orange sea foam to go with it.
It is a very Scorpio looking painting, very intense moon rising over a psychedelic ocean.
