Beautiful pinks and reds with folds and delicate tissue petals inspired me to paint this “Poppy Family”. They are looking away from the viewer and facing the sun coming up across the meadow.
I love to paint poppies and collect them myself. I’m always looking for a new way to paint them. I wish I could grow them! I have a green thumb but for some reason I cannot seem to keep poppies so I guess I’ll just have to keep painting them.
This is a miniature painting, only 2.5″x3.5″ and comes with a miniature easel. Perfect for small niches or side tables.
