I have the privilege of feeding many red birds (cardinals) at my house. I decided I wanted to hand embellish my tree mono-print with a sweet little red bird perched on a branch. Trees are one of my favorite subjects to paint and I love the way the dash of bright red punctuates the crispness of this modern looking art.
My mono-prints are carved from a high density rubber product and then hand pulled on high quality paper and matted. Sometimes, I embellish them by hand with paint. It comes matted and ready to insert into your 5×7 frame and place in a special spot for daily happiness.
