About the painting Tangled: I’m always looking up into trees and finding tons of inspiration within them. This is a print of my original painting (sold) of a big old gnarly beech tree, it’s a giant really. I wanted to focus on the beautiful branches but also see the beautiful autumn foliage in the background. I love to paint trees and this one was a lot of fun. There are many beech trees on our property and they are such magnificent souls in our magical woods. I just love them and the more asymmetrical and “un-perfect” they are the better. As always, a little artistic license is thrown in.

This print has a built in white border to simulate a mat, simply trim print to fit your frame. Print will stay vibrant if kept out of the sunlight or under direct lights for several years. It’s important to me that art is affordable and attainable by everyone. Buying a print is a great way to get started in art collecting.
I’ve painted many trees and will continue to do so as they are some of my favorite subjects. A section dedicated to them is in my shop here. I am slowly adding more all the time.

This listing is for a Fine Art Print “Giclée” or an Economy Print – You select your choice.
- My Giclée Fine Art Prints are Museum Quality and have the authentic “look and feel” of high quality watercolor paper that are produced with Somerset Velvet paper and Epson Ultrachrome professional archival inks. The Giclée is printed on paper that is 1″ larger than your chosen size unless you request otherwise at checkout. This is for ease of framing. You will need to trim the paper to fit your frame and/or mat, there are trim marks to make this easy or use your frame glass as a template. I suggest framing your print to protect it and ensure your enjoyment for years to come.
- Economy Prints are made using an electrostatic digital imaging process. They include a generous white border which mimics a mat. Economy prints should bring you many years of brightness and pleasure if you make sure to keep the art out of the sun or any bright light. It is best to frame them under glass or plexiglass for protection and longevity.
