Wildflowers – Abundant Blessings 1

$30.00$65.00

Abundant Blessings 1 (the left side of the original diptych) is an expressive and vibrant painting of wildflowers all dancing together on a hillside. I danced with them as I painted. It looks beautiful alone or with the companion piece, Abundant Blessings 2.

Choose from 8″x8″ or 12″x12″ or 20″x20″ Giclee fine art prints that include a 1″ white border on Somerset Velvet paper printed on an Epson Stylus Pro 9900 printer.

Description

Abundant Blessings 1 is the left side of an original diptych (two paintings meant to go together). I painting these paintings with wonderful latin music playing loudly in my studio as I danced around with my paint brush!

I felt as vibrant and colorful as the wildflowers were that I painted. Who wouldn’t? That music just makes you move! I added grasses and all kinds of leaves and plants blowing gently on a hillside with an ultra marine blue textured sky because it made me happy. I created handmade stencils and added multiple layers of paint and I feel that makes this hillside landscape a vibrant and passionate painting.

The original, a double canvas – one painting on two canvases, is sold.

Read about the creation of this painting and see pictures of the process on my blog here.

I do commission paintings if you are wanting an original of your own. Please let me know if I can paint you a version or if there is a special subject you would like to have painted. See more about commissions on my about page.
