So you may know I have been tirelessly working on Studio Gardens for a while now. I’ve shown you many photos and even video tours but this video tour is the closest to being completed as I’ve ever been. I’ve split the videos into 4 different video tour segments.
I tend to go on and on when it comes to gardening and talking about my gardens and offering tips and tricks here and there. I tried to put some breaks in to not be too long. I show you the garden art I have throughout as well as my koi fish and my latest projects that I haven’t shared yet like the trellis I made from saplings that I attached to my greenhouse. I have videos for the creation of that trellis but I was hoping for it to fill out a little more with the vines to have an “after” shot before I posted it. It will be up soon.
In the meantime, here are the four videos. I start from within my art studio for this first one. I’d love to hear your comments. Tell me about your garden.
Video two is a continuation of the tour and to be honest it’s here because I screwed up. It turned into a happy accident because I took such a long time showing you everything, that the breaks were needed. This is the longest video by far, but I show you so much so you won’t want to skip it! 😉
Video three is trellis video and a look along side of my greenhouse as well as a quick glance at the front yard.
Finally, video four is the next day, I went out to feed my koi. I attempted to get a closer view of them by feeding them from the ground, but they are used to me feeding from the deck and were a little shy. Some good video was still gotten and the sounds of summer just make my heart swoon. This is the final and shortest video.
Again, I’d love to hear your comments! Do you go overboard when it comes to gardening just as I do?? It never seems enough, except for when I’m watering… haha.
I wanted to share a link with you that goes to a garden post by my friend and fellow artist/gardener Anne Butera posted recently on her blog. Anne paints these amazing watercolors of her plants and flowers. She also happens to be one the best gardeners I know. You’ve got to go check out her beautiful photos of her garden. Here’s the link to her post.
Learn more about me on the ‘About’ page in the menu at the top. I’m an artist – a painter mostly and an avid gardener. I paint a variety of subjects including birds, koi fish, my gardens, ponds and flowers as well as anything having to do with nature especially trees and tropical scenes. I also enjoy painting abstracts.
If you would like to keep up with what I’m doing, I have a newsletter e-mailed about once a month that gives you special status for invitations, birthday greeting and more. I’d love for you to add your email to my Friends and Collectors list!
So fun to visit your studio gardens, Jaime! Such an inspiring place. Your cute commentary made me laugh. 🙂
Aw thanks Anne! I talk to myself all the time, can you imagine what that sounds like? hahah
