collapsed art show tent

Due to the stormy weather that has been called for tomorrow (4/25/15), I’ve decided to not set up at Funk in the City in downtown Evansville, Indiana. I don’t want to take the chance of ending up like this poor vendor. I hope no one was hurt.

I’m sorry for any inconvenience. This is sadly a common occurrence for spring outdoor shows, stormy weather. It happens, we know it, and we take chances on whether we’ll be able to attend or not. I hope you find a way to dodge the rain drops and we all avoid any severe weather.

Please visit me next weekend at Arts in Harmony in New Harmony Indiana. I’ll be there rain or shine because I’ve got an inside booth! Yay!

If you’re new to my blog and website have a look at my ‘About’ page in the menu at the top. I’m an artist – a painter mostly. I paint a variety of subjects including cranes, ravens and crows, flowers as well as anything having to do with nature especially trees and tropical scenes. If you’re interested in my art, I have a newsletter mailed about once a month that gives you special status for invitations, birthday greeting and more. Sign up here for it.
